The Story
In November of 2018, Evan Watson of Plan Bee Farm Brewery visited Atlantic Highlands to shepherd Carton Brewing through our inaugural edition of his Barn Beer concept, which is all about the natural flavors of a particular region.
For our 2019 edition, Planning Jersey once again utilized all things NJ to help this project come to fruition:
Yeast: cultured via Shaheen’s Honey Vat Apiary (Locust, NJ)
Hops: grown at Oasis Farm (Locust, NJ)
Dry Hops: grown at Bitter End Hops Farm (Randolph, NJ)
Grist: grown and malted by Rabbit Hill Malt (Shiloh, NJ)
Water: Atlantic Highlands aquifer
Brewed: November 3, 2019
Bottled: April 1, 2020
Released: May 20, 2020
