There’s a space between where West Coast IPAs have been and where they’re going. That’s where this one sets up camp.
Superdelic opens with bright red fruit and a candy-citrus edge. Mosaic comes in with layered berries and citrus peel — familiar, but earned. Then Anchovy cuts through with a sharper, savory-citrus bite that keeps the whole thing from drifting somewhere soft and easy. Chico yeast. Clean fermentation. Structured bitterness that means what it says and a dry finish that keeps you coming back to figure it out.
It shifts as it warms. Fruit, citrus, something just off-center.
Not old school. Not new school. Right in between. That’s where the interesting stuff happens.
