Pairs Best With: Caring deeply about appearing indifferent.
Nonchalant is the art of not caring. Chalant is what happens when you care an unreasonable amount about hops and refuse to pretend otherwise.
We like hops. Especially when a few of New Zealand’s most expressive varieties get together to see what happens.
Chalant starts with Riwaka—intense citrus, grapefruit zest, and unmistakable New Zealand character. Diesel Riwaka amplifies those aromatics, while Nelson brings white grape, gooseberry, and Sauvignon Blanc notes. Motueka adds bright lime, with Full Moon Harvest and Eggers Special rounding out a layered, fruit-forward profile.
At 6.5%, this New England IPA is soft, hazy, and saturated, with a plush body and enough bitterness to maintain balance.
The nose is bright and expressive. Grapefruit, lime zest, and white grape give way to passionfruit, pineapple, and ripe tropical fruit, finishing clean enough to invite another sip.
A lot of New Zealand. Very little restraint. Entirely Chalant. 🍺
