Surus

We named this beer Surus not out of novelty, but because it captures what we set out to build: something that endures. In the lore, Surus was the last of Hannibal’s war elephants to survive the brutal Alpine crossing — carrying scars, but still standing. That’s the spirit behind this collaboration with Twin Elephant.

In this IPA, we juxtapose five hops (Tettnang, NZ Cascade, Riwaka, Alora, Citra Incognito) in a dance of contrasts: structure meets wildness, brightness meets depth, subtlety meets punch. Surus is the backbone — balancing audacity with restraint, offering strength in complexity.

Expect layered citrus, tropical oils, soft florals, and a thread of earthiness. It’s bold, but not brash. Vibrant, but grounded. Like the elephant that bore the weight of history, this beer carries our collective ambition and invites you to taste endurance.
