Playing with flavor can make your entire time at the table better, and by playing your own game with your own rules, that creativity is bound to inspire others in some way. For Fifty Years Later, our game was designed around translating some of the flavors that delight and inspire our co-founder, Augie Carton, into a celebratory 50th birthday beer.The classic key lime tart pastry from The Flake Tart provides the starting point, where snappy citrus notes from key lime juice and Motueka hops poke through hints of vanilla, and then are evened out by subtle, biscuit-y, graham cracker crumb crust finish.
